Hey Barry it’s been two years that you left this earth. We hold onto the great memories of you deep in our hearts. I was just telling a friend of mine the other day how I miss your BBQ dinners. Now Cyn and I may go occasionally to get some BBQ from the restaurants.  We are all taking good care of Cyn for you.  A light went out of our lives the day God called you home. The love will shine forever in our hearts. We miss and love you always. Rest on Brother-in-law.

When I met Barry, he was so sweet and welcoming. He was like a big brother and always looked out for my daughter.  The nights I left for class, I knew that my daughter would be safe because Barry was always watching out for her. We will never forget him, his days of barbequing and infectious smile. Rest in Heaven.

Thanks to Jerry, Barry and I got to know each
other.  He was always cheerful. Unfortunately, we  didn't have much time,  but we had fun talking on the phone.  We tried to connect our family tree, and talked about how glad we were to find  each other.  I really enjoyed talking with both Cynthia and Barry.  I learned his voice, but when Barry called, he would sound happy and would announce, "This is your nephew, Barry".  I was always happy to hear from him.  I will miss him.

Barry was a good brother. We had a good talk last year, which I will always remember. Rest well my brother!!!! 

I  have nothing but good memories of my bro n law . He always could make me laugh. He was a huge basketball  fan & so was i . I use to text him all the time when there were certain things I didn't understand about the sport, & BELIEVE ME he knew his basketball lol. About 3 yrs ago some kind of way I found out that he liked plants so I had one that wasn't growing so good for me so I gave it to Barry . He ended up bringing it back to life 3 times the size much to cynthia's dismay lol. But more than anything he was a people person who could blend in with anyone, he was a sure believer of family. ( I WILL MISS YOU BRO N LAW R.I.P)

Thank you so much God for blessing me with this Man.  My life will never be the same without  him, but it’s better because I had him.  Love and miss you so much my husband my best friend. 



Forever grateful that you were a part of my life.  Just think you were not here by chance, but by God's choosing.  Just like Joseph you were committed even when things got hard.

My condolences goes out to the entire Lucas family. Praying for God’s comfort and strength to all. May God also continue to comfort my sister Cynthia Lucas on the loss of her Husband. My Brother-in-law Barry Lucas had a great spirit and he will be missed dearly by all who loved him.  Thank you for the love you showed my sister. I will miss those great barbecue dinners too.  Rest well Barry 🥰
