Bessie was a friend to me and my mother. She
was kind, thoughtful, helpful, generous, a great cook, and hard working. I remember her cooking for the holidays, she would tell me to come on by. I loved her food, cakes, and pies.

I will remember Bessie as a woman of virtue. Always working, giving, taking care of her kids, grandchildren, relatives, and friends. She would also give you good advice when asked. So long my friend. You will always be remembered. ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️

Bessie was a woman of dignity, courage, and love. We became members of an extended family that included her children and ours and included many of Catie and Corey’s friendship groups. She was not just Granny to our common grandchildren, but a role model to all grandparents. Her love and acceptance of all will live on in the hearts of those who loved her.

I'm so grateful that I was afforded the honor of getting to know Bessie over the years. She always went out of her way to give me a warm hug, ask me how my family was doing and share some genuine conversation. She certainly raised a good boy who married an amazing woman. No doubt that her physical presence will be missed, but please be comforted by the fact that Bessie will continue to shine on through her beautiful grandbabies.

My grandmother was many things to many people... but to me she was my whole ❤️...., I don’t know anyone as loving, as giving and hardworking as she was... She was there for me when no one else was and has always been by my side to guide me through this crazy thing called life. I honestly don’t know what I’m going to do with out you but I promise to make you proud. Grandma I love you more than you know and I will forever hold you in my heart .

You are truly missed!!!
Rest In Heaven ❤️

Bessie was a beautiful person, filled with laughter and kindness. Her smile could be infectious and you were warmed by her care and interest.
I so enjoyed visits on the porch of our house in Oak Park and I will miss her presence at events and family
gatherings. The blending of our two families was wonderful, Corey is a good man, and Bessie embraced us with open arms-as we embraced her.
Bessie was always 'on the go' and had a wonderful work ethic. She treated all those she met with openness, kindness, and care.
Bessie will be in my heart forever and will live on in our memories and in the lives of her precious grandbabies.
Smile for Bessie!

Bessie was a sweet and very kind person. She's my second cousin. My mom, Aristyine and her are first cousins. As a child my sister's and I would visit at her house with her children Marlon and Corey. We would have a good old time always. Bessie was always so sweet, welcoming, and kind to our family. I pray that cousin Bessie's soul will rest in eternal peace. My heart is with her children, family, and all who loved her.
With Love,🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿

She was always so kind to us whenever we had the pleasure of seeing her. You could tell she loved her grandchildren so much, she would give them the world if she could. That love and her memory will live on forever.

We love you Granny!

A presence that lights the room.

The love between these two is endless.
