

Born in Chicago in 1928, he was a devoted husband to Arlene (Kveton) for 54 years and loving father to Alan and Linda. Chuck graduated from Farragut High School and served as a Sergeant in the Army. Over a 41 year career as a design engineer for Cory Corp. and Bloomfield Industries, he obtained 13 patents for new products and processes. Chuck enjoyed visiting with his longtime friends from the DeKoVeN Social Club, attending auto repair classes at Morton College and helping out his many friends in the neighborhood. He had also been very active in Scouting, PTA and whatever his family was involved in. After being nominated by his neighbors, Chuck was presented with the Good Neighbor award from the Rotary Club.
Charles is survived by his Son Alan (Anita), Daughter Linda, Tom Long, Brother-in-law Charles Kveton (Mildred) and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Charles was preceded in death by his Wife Arlene, Sister Helen and Parents Joseph and Blanche and Brother-in-law James Kveton.
A visitation is scheduled at Woodlawn Funeral Home, 7750 W. Cermak Rd., Forest Park, IL Thursday, November 12th from 3:00pm to 8:00pm
A funeral service will be performed at Woodlawn Funeral Home Friday, November 13th at 10:00am
