Derek J. Goodman, 60, of Bellwood, passed away suddenly on August 17, 2024. He was a loving father of Derek Jr. (Stephanie), Danielle, Patrick, Daffney, Alyssa (Willie), Derris and Diana. Cherished grandfather of Aniyah, Elijah, Lauren, Logan, London, Azriel, Aiden, Nivea, Parker, and Kario; beloved brother of Theresa, Marnette (Pete), Otis (Melissa) and Johnnie; treasured uncle of a host of nieces and nephews.
Derek graduated Job Corp and received an accounting certificate and went on to work as an accountant for several companies. He enjoyed playing basketball and being with his family. He will be best remembered for his laugh, jokes and his quick wit.
Visitation will be on Friday, September 6, 2024, from 4pm to 7pm at Woodlawn Funeral Home, 7750 W. Cermak Rd., Forest Park, IL 60130.
