Emil Paul Drysch

March 10, 1942June 21, 2020

Emil Drysch, 78, of Oxford, WI, formerly of Lombard, IL, passed away June 21st, 2020. Beloved husband of Carol Drysch, nee Lhotka; dear father of April (David) Smith and Beth Davis; proud grandfather of Michael (Jennifer) Smith, Hope Smith, and Jamal Davis. Emil worked at Bowne (formerly LaSalle Street Press) in Chicago as a financial printer for over 20 years until his retirement. He then moved full time to Oxford, WI, with his wife. Emil became an avid golfer at Thal Acres for over 25 years. He really looked forward every year to their chili opening day. The highlight of his golfing career was getting a hole in one at Thal Acres followed by a hole in one in Florida a few months later. He loved gardening, being outside, and cooking, especially on the grill. He will be missed greatly by his family. He will be close in our hearts and minds for the rest of our lives. A lunch celebrating his life will be held for his immediate family at a later date. In lieu of flowers, condolence cards can be sent to Emil's wife, Carol, at W 8345 Elk Avenue, Oxford, WI, 53952.

Caroll, April and Bethie,
I have only good memories of this kind and gentle man. I truly am sorry for the loss. Please accept my sincere sympathy. I think he and Bill may be playing golf on some heavenly course. Take care.
Know that you are loved.
