

Born to a strong Catholic family, Eusebio Humberto was the son of Maria Leija Hernandez, who preceded him in death, and Eusebio Hernandez, who survives him. Growing up in a bustling household, he was a cherished brother to four sisters Letty (Abel) Pena, Elsie (Joseph) Rodarte, Mary Hernandez, Martha (Christopher) Hill and two brothers, Enrique (Mari) Hernandez and Alvaro (Valentina) Hernandez leaving behind a legacy of love and support that will resonate through his family.
Eusebio Humberto was a proud father to two daughters, Celeste (Manuel) Fandino and Jacqueline Hernandez and is also survived by two granddaughters, Iliana Matilde and Cristina Elena, who brightened his life with their laughter and joy. As an uncle to twelve nieces and nephews; Araceli, Maricarmen, Enrique, Lucia, Jeanette, Kimberly, Ashley, Ivana, Zoey, Isabella, Myles and Andrea, he embraced the role with warmth and affection. He was always ready to offer guidance, wisdom and a buddy for attending concerts, especially heavy metal ones.
Eusebio also leaves behind his wife of a year and a half Tomasa. Beyond his family ties, he forged deep connections with his colleagues, earning their admiration and friendship. His coworkers will remember him for his kindness, reliability, and hard work the joy he brought to the workplace.
A funeral mass is scheduled for October 8, 2025, at Ascension Catholic Church. Flowers, donations, and condolences may be offered at Ascension Catholic Church- 808 South East Avenue, Oak Park, Illinois.
Eusebio Humberto will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him, leaving behind a legacy of devotion, hard work, and family unity.
