Francisco E. Flores

“Pancho”, como lo conocían sus seres queridos, nació el 6 de diciembre de 1947 en Lima, Perú, a padres Adriana y Pascual Flores. Era el menor de seis hermanos. En buscando un futuro mejor para su familia, Pancho con su esposa Teresa y sus tres hijos emigraron a Forest Park, Illinois en marzo de 1987. El nunca se olvidó sus raíces peruanas, inscribiendo a sus tres hijos en colegios católicos y fue miembro de La Hermandad del Señor de los Milagros de Chicago. Pancho era conocido por su devoción a su familia y amigos, su amor por la música salsa, su apoyo entusiasta al club de fútbol Alianza Lima, y su disfruto de los eventos en La Casa de La Medina.

Pancho es sobrevivido por su esposa de 48 años, Teresa, sus hijos Martín Flores (Carla) y Francisco J. Flores (Emily), sus nietas María y Paola, sus hermanas María Schultz (Ron) y Adriana Ramírez. Fue precedido por su hijo José Francisco Flores y sus hermanos Marta Flores, Eduardo Flores y Pascual Flores. Pancho también deja a muchos queridos familiares y amigos, en Peru y en los Estados Unidos.

Las horas de visita para Pancho serán el martes 10 de enero de 2023 de 4:00pm - 8:00pm en Woodlawn Funeral Home, 7750 West Cermak Road, Forest Park, Illinois 60130.

Seguido por una Misa fúnebre el miércoles 11 de enero de 2023 a las 10:00am en St. Bernardine Church 815 South Elgin Avenue Forest Park, Illinois 60130.

Después de la Misa, Pancho será enterrado en el Cementerio Católico Queen of Heaven, 1400 South Wolf Road, Hillside, Illinois 60162.

Loving husband and father, Francisco E. Flores, 75, of Forest Park, Illinois passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 3, 2023.

“Pancho,” as he was known to his loved ones, was born on December 6, 1947 in Lima, Peru to parents Adriana and Pascual Flores. He was the youngest of six siblings. In search of a better future for his family, Pancho along with his wife Teresa and three sons, immigrated to Forest Park, Illinois in March of 1987. He never forgot his Peruvian roots, enrolling his three sons in Catholic elementary and high schools and was an active member of the Hermandad del Senor de Los Milagros of Chicago. Pancho was known for his unconditional devotion to his family and friends, his love of salsa music, his enthusiastic support of the futbol club Alianza Lima, and his enjoyment of the events at La Casa de La Medina.

Pancho is survived by his wife of 48 years, Teresa, sons Martin Flores (Carla) and Francisco J. Flores (Emily), granddaughters Maria and Paola, sisters Maria Schultz (Ron) and Adriana Ramirez. He was predeceased by his son Jose Francisco Flores, and siblings Marta Flores, Eduardo Flores, and Pascual Flores. Pancho also leaves behind many beloved family members and friends, both here and abroad.

Visitation hours for Pancho will be held on Tuesday, January 10th, 2023 from 4:00pm - 8:00pm at Woodlawn Funeral Home, 7750 West Cermak Road, Forest Park, Illinois 60130.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, January 11th, 2023 at 10:00am at St. Bernardine Catholic Church, 7246 Harrison Street, Forest Park, Illinois 60130. Family and friends can meet at the funeral home at 8:30am to follow in procession.

Following Mass, Pancho will be interred at the Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery, 1400 South Wolf Road, Hillside, Illinois 60162.

Following internment, the Flores family invites you to join them for a reception at Maggiano's Little Italy at 240 Oakbrook Center, Oak Brook, Illinois 60523.
