Guillermo E Vega

Born on July 30, 1959, in Chicago, Illinois, Billy was the beloved son of Francisco and Nieves Vega. He grew up in Chicago's Pilsen neighborhood and proudly served in the United States Army.

Billy was known for his wonderful sense of humor and his joking personality. He was also an avid reader who enjoyed the simple pleasures of life. Those who knew Billy will remember his quick wit, his ability to make others laugh, and the memories he created with the people he loved.

Billy was preceded in death by his father, Francisco Vega, and his brothers Jose Luis "Pepe" Vega and Phillip Vega.

Billy is survived by his wife, Tiffany Vega; his daughters Stephanie and Andrea; his grandson, Vincent Almazan: his mother Nieves; his brothers, Jose "Paco", Adolfo, Humberto Matos, his sisters, Maria Guadalupe "Lupita", Blanca, Leticia, Catherine (Alfaro), Michelle, Bertha (Macias) and many nieces and nephews.

He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Visitation will be held at Woodlawn Funeral Home, 7750 West Cermak Road, Forest Park, IL 60130, US, on August 24, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
