Harold Theodore Ebert Jr., affectionately known as "Moose," passed away peacefully on December 15, 2025, at the age of 65. Born in Chicago, Illinois, on December 27, 1959, Harold was a beloved, humorous, and kind-hearted individual who left a lasting impact on all who knew him.
Moose spent over 30 years working for the All-Star Asphalt Company in Wheeling, where he was known for his dedication and hard work.
He is survived by his twin sister, Cheryl (née Ebert) Cordova and Wayne Ebert, as well as his half-siblings, Brenda Ramirez, Deanna Maze, and Lisa Dickson. Moose was a fantastic uncle to all his great nieces and nephews, and his love for his nephew Benjamin Cordova, Jr. and Nicholas Cordova was especially profound.
In his personal life, Moose enjoyed bowling and fishing, pursuits that brought him much joy and relaxation. He was known for his big heart and will be best remembered for his sarcastic humor.
