Helen R Hoffman

Helen R. Hoffman, 92, of Brookfield, Illinois, passed away peacefully on November 29th, 2023. She was a loving wife to the late Louis A. Hoffman; beloved mother to Sandra L. (the late Charles) Egner and Louis J. (Denise) Hoffman; cherished grandmother to Charles J. (Jessica Smith) Egner, George L. Egner, Sarah E. (Patrick) Friedrich, Kirstin N. Fordyce, Amber C. (Tim) Chlebek, Lauren D. (Alex) Schmid, Louis E. (Kelly) Hoffman; treasured great-grandmother Brennan Hoffman, Ryan Strunga, Emma Fordyce, Aubrey Phad, Sawyer Chlebek, Sydney Schmid, Evan Schmid, Emmett P. Friedrich and Henry L. Friedrich.

Helen graduated from Riverside-Brookfield High school in 1949.

She loved feeding the squirrels, especially pecan sandies, and she enjoyed giving treats to the neighborhood dogs. She will be best remembered for her smile.

In lieu, of flowers memorial contributions are appreciated to the Hinsdale Humane Society.

Friends and family will gather for a visitation for Helen that will be held on Saturday, December 9th, 2023 from 10am to 11am, with a service at 11am at Woodlawn Funeral Home & Memorial Park in our crematory chapel (next to the mausoleum), 7750 West Cermak Road, Forest Park, Illinois 60130.
