Jane H. Simpson

Jane graduated from Paul Laurence Dunbar High School, Little Rock, Arkansas in 1954.

She married Curtis Simpson in 1954. After many years of separation, the marriage ended in divorce in 1984.

Jane worked at various companies but found her joy as an accounting clerk at American Greetings in Cleveland, Ohio. December 2007, at the age of 70, Jane retired from American Greeting after 20 years of service.

Jane especially loved reading. She would read 3 or more books per week.

Jane was a member of The Institute of Divine Metaphysical Research. She attended IDMR classes in both Cleveland, Ohio and Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She knew and believed in the teaching of Dr. Henry Clifford Kinley.

Remaining to cherish Jane’s memory are children: Greta S Jackson (Etoy Jackson spouse), Anita M. Simpson and Edward F. Simpson; grandchildren: Kinya Simpson, Catina Simpson, Carvell Simpson, Nicholas Bradley, Caprice Simpson; Torian Simpson and Jeremy Moore. great-grandchildren: Robbin Robertson; nieces, Tonya Houston, Jimelle Sparrow (Victor Sparrow spouse), Darci Lewis and D’Lisa Lewis; Cousin, Serena Ferba. A host of many other cousins, great grandnieces, great grandnephews, family and friends.

Preceding Jane H Simpson in death are daughter, Cynthia Ann Simpson; parents, James and Margrate Houston; brother, James A Houston Jr; sisters, Patricia Ann Houston and Greta A Green; niece, De’Shonda J. Lewis.
