John Patrick Montgomery

Loving father of Paul Montgomery, Lisa Weber, Sean Montgomery, Krista Sindelar and Leslie Lewis. Cherished grandfather of Deidre, Mariel, Mark, Hannah, Danielle, Brianna, Niko, Nikki, Kaelin and Cassidy. Dear brother of Sharon, Joyce, and the late Paul.

John was a proud military veteran, having served in both the United States Marine Corps and the United States Army. He retired from the military after serving 28 years, and was a Vietnam and Desert Storm veteran. John's accomplishments throughout his life were vast; a few of the highlights include being a Chicago Police Department Detective, a commercial instrument pilot, a stationary engineer and becoming one of the first Physician's Assistants in the State of Illinois.

A visitation for John will be held Saturday, September 24, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Woodlawn Funeral Home, 7750 West Cermak Road, Forest Park, Illinois 60130, followed by a chapel service at 1:00 PM. Interment will be private.
