Lillie M Jones

Lille Mae Jones was born in Epes, Alabama to Edward & Ada Knight on September 6, 1926. Lillie received her formal education in Epps, Alabama and from there began working as a homemaker later in life becoming a librarian and retiring as a butcher. Lillie along with her family moved to Mississippi where she met and married her husband Robert E. Jones (deceased), to this union three children were born; Robert Jr, Gwendolyn, and Victoria, from there the family relocated to Chicago in 1957. Lillie was a very devoted mother, wife, sister & grandmother that was blessed to live a full life. Lillie made her transition on December 22, 2021 at 95 years old. She was preceded in death by her siblings; Pearlie, Edward Jr, Samuel, James, Ethel, Annie, Willie & Zachary. She leaves to cherish her memory with her sisters; Geneva, Dortha, Ora and Virginia. Her children; Robert, Gwendolyn (Johnie deceased), Victoria (Charles). Her grandchildren; Henry Jr (Samantha), Bennie, Brittish (Marcel), Seneca, Whittney, and Chase. Her great-grandchildren; Ja’Coreyon, Kiari, Madisyn, Ja’Kyla, Jarel, Mason and Mellani. Her brother-in-law Edward Porter along with a host of nieces and nephews that she loved dearly.
