My sincere condolences to you all, I am very sad that I will not read any more thoughts and observations from Margaret.    I have never met her, we 'met on Ebay, when she was collecting Chinese antiques and writing her book on Chinese silver.  I was also buying pieces and we began talking about the history of the pieces.    We were going to meet; she had made arrangements to fly to London, to view Chinese toggles in a Museum and I was going with her.  None of us can forget the 7-11 World Trade Center Building attack and the enormity of this prevented her travelling to London.  
We share the same birth date January 17.
 We have corresponded over the years, she always including news about her family and what her grand-children were doing.  I think this is one of my favourite messages from her - they have the same energy and enthusiasm for life as their Grandmother.
Dear Eileen,
 Well, my crew is sure having fun but I'm not sure how much sightseeing they're doing and who is that gorgeous hunk with his arms around my granddaughters?  Had to laugh though.  Only my 17 year old granddaughter would take her beloved mini skateboard to London!!!  From their clothing in the most recent photo, I can tell you're as hot as we are.  It's been in the 90s and close to 100 (99) for days here and will continue all week.
