Margaret Jo Hussain. It is with great sadness that the family of Margaret Jo Hussain (nee Starowski) announces her passing on June 15th, 2023, at the age of 63. Margaret was an attendee of East Leyden High School in Franklin Park, Illinois, and a graduate from the School of Hard Knocks. Margie was a warrior until the end when her battle with various illnesses took her life. Marge is watching ABC7 News all day long at her new home, in heaven.

Margaret is survived by her loving husband of over 39 years, Mirza Hussain, and her siblings, Barbara Khan and Larry Starowski.

Marge’s “say it like it is with zero regard for anybody’s reaction” demeanor will be remembered through her oldest son, Hector Flores (Micah Cassel). The public will be reminded of Marge’s hard work ethic through her daughter, Amber Carter (Sean Carter). Margaret’s son, Adam Hussain, is fortunate to inherit her spontaneity and wanderlust. Her youngest daughter, Ashley Hussain, is blessed with Marge’s fierce wittiness. Margaret is also survived by three grandchildren: Oliver Flores, Henry Carter, and Claire Carter.

Margaret was a dedicated employee and a recent retiree of Jewel Osco, serving up her humorous comments to the Round Lake community for over 30 years.

Margaret’s family will be holding private services to honor her legacy.
