Margaret L. Sazma passed peacefully on March 25, 2026, at the age of 99. Born July 5, 1926, Margaret was a longtime resident of Riverside, Illinois, and was a graduate of Riverside Brookfield Township High School.
Margaret is survived by her many loving nieces and nephews. She retired from Western Electric where she worked as a keypunch, enjoyed needlepoint, bingo, collecting Beanie Babies, road travel, and was an avid fan of the Chicago Cubs. She was active with her late husband, Leonard Sazma, in the MHRS metal detecting club. Aunt Marge is lovingly remembered for her warm and welcoming smile. She was a huge fan of Betty Boop.
Visitation will be held at Woodlawn Funeral Home, 7750 West Cermak Road, Forest Park, IL 60130, on Thursday, April 2, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
