She is survived by Mauricio Dimas, Significant other. Loving mother of Rosa Vega, Rick Carmona, Mario Zavala, Raul Zavala, Jessica Zavala and Yesenia Barrera. Loving Grandmother of Vicky, Lulu, Leo, Priscilla, Jacob, Bianca, Samuel, Vincent, Nicholas, Madison, Mario, Jasmin, Daisy, Dalilah, Jessica, Raulito, Arianna, Rosario, Leilani, Josiah, Giovanni, Andrea,Jorge and Felipe. Loving Great Grandma of Sophie, Sergito, Sebastian, Rosalie, Javier, Benjamin, Daniel, Isaiah, Vivian, D’Angelo, Genesis, Fabian, Esmeralda and Jonathan. Maria was a wonderful neighbor and friend to many, she will be greatly missed.

Maria found joy in tending to her garden, watering her grass and plants, conversating with the neighbors passing by, she loved being celebrated especially on her Birthdays, and always looked forward to holidays. Although she will be truly missed, we will forever cherish her memory and continue celebrating her through us.

A visitation for Maria will be held on Saturday March 21, 2026 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Woodlawn Funeral Home, 7750 W. Cermak Rd., Forest Park, IL 60130.
