It is with heavy hearts and deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, Maria Juanita Paz, who entered eternal rest peacefully on July 1, 2026, at the age of 76, surrounded by her loving family.
Maria was born on March 28, 1950, in Mercedes, Texas, and made her home in Cicero, Illinois, where she built a life centered on family and love. She was the devoted wife of Florencio Paz, the loving mother of five children, the cherished grandmother of ten grandchildren, and the proud great-grandmother of six great-grandchildren.
Maria's greatest joy in life was her family. She dedicated her life to caring for those she loved, always offering a warm smile, comforting words, and unconditional love. She found her greatest happiness in bringing her family together, creating traditions, and making memories that will be treasured for generations.
She will be remembered for her generous heart, unwavering strength, and selfless spirit. Her kindness touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing her, and her home was always filled with love, laughter, and open arms. She leaves behind a legacy of compassion, resilience, and unconditional love that will continue to inspire her family every day.
Although our hearts are filled with sorrow, we find comfort in knowing that her love, faith, and beautiful spirit will continue to live on through her family and all those whose lives she touched.
