Marie J. Aguirre

Marie was a loving daughter to parents who predeceased her, Joseph Brettillo and Rose née Valenti. She was a cherished sister to Ray Glorioso, Katherine Glorioso, Nick Brettillo, Vince Brettillo, and Jeannette Udischas.

Marie was a beloved mother to Russell Ouellette, Angelo Ouellette, Dino Aguirre, Denise Delgado, and Peter Aguirre. She was a treasured Grandmother to Joey Ouellette, Michael Ouellette, Danny Delgado, Justine Delgado, Angelo Ouellette, Michelle Ouellette Annette Delgado, Alina Ouellette, and Dylan Cecil. She was an adored great grandmother to Nathan Delgado, Hayden Ouellette, Sophia Delgado, and Anthony Delgado. She was a fond aunt to many nieces and nephews, and cousin to many.

Marie was the proud owner of the M&M’s bar, a place shaped by steady work, commitment, and the kind of care that made people feel welcome. Her hard-working spirit was evident in all she did, and those who knew her understood that her generosity was not occasional—it was simply her way of living.

A beloved and cherished presence in the lives of many, Marie will be remembered for helping anyone she could and for loving her family deeply. She held God in her heart, and that faith quietly guided her days. She also brought people together in joyful ways, especially through the big holiday parties she hosted at her bar—gatherings that reflected her warmth and her gift for making room for others.

Marie loved playing bingo at church almost every week and found comfort in simple, faithful routines. She also loved knitting blankets for friends and family, creating gifts that carried her care in every stitch. At home, she delighted in playing with her dogs, and she was happiest when feeding everyone—especially with her food, offered with pride and affection.

Visitation will be held at Woodlawn Funeral Home, 7750 West Cermak Road, Forest Park, IL 60130, on Friday, August 14, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Services conclude this evening, cremation rites to be accorded.
