Marlene C. Hernandez, 59 of Chicago was born in Suchitoto, El Salvador to Evelio and Dominga Solorzano and passed away June 24, 2020. Marlene was the beloved wife of Roberto Hernandez; loving mother of Michael Hernandez; proud grandmother of Nathan Hernandez; dear sister of three sisters and seven brothers, Angelica Solorzano-Garcia, Sonia Suarez, Ana Saenz, Nelson Solorzano, Louis Solorzano, Jose Jaime Solorzano, Carlos Solorzano, Oscar Solorzano, Frank Solorzano, Jose Mardoqueo Solorzano. Visitation at Woodlawn Funeral Home 7750 W. Cermak Rd. Forest Park, IL . In consideration of the safety of our guests and associates, Woodlawn Funeral Home will adhere to the current gathering restrictions in the state of Illinois, which allow 50 or fewer guests at services. Proper social distancing must be practiced and all guests will be required to wear face masks at all times. Thank you for your cooperation. A funeral mass will be held at St. Mary of the Angels 1850 N Hermitage Ave Chicago, IL on Thursday July 2 at 11am. Interment to follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery Hillside, IL

I wanted to send my condolence out to Marlene Hernandez's family, friends and co-workers at Plexus that new and worked with Marlene.
When I started at Plexus 17 years ago I meet Marlene. Marlene always had a smile and personality that lifted everyone in the room. We laughed, we shared stories in our lives over the years as we all worked together and loved life.
The last time I saw Marlene she shared the grieve over losing her Mother. Loss is so hard for all of us. Now with hearing the sad news of the loss of our beloved co-worker & Friend. I just wanted the Family and all who new and loved Marlene know we Praying for you and are comforted in the spirit that one day in the thereafter well meet again to share stories of our life's with our loved one again.
