Age 61, longtime resident of North Riverside, passed away September 22, 2012. Greatest husband, partner and best friend of Cheryl Scumaci; the best dad of Michael, Lisa, Anthony (Stacy Sotiropoulos), Chewy “Matthew” (Lisa), Joey, and Jimmy Scumaci; grandpa of Gia, Michael and Madison; dearest son of August and Jeanne Scumaci; the most special brother of Dorothy (Art), Barbara (Duane), Ro (Luch) and Lisa (Mark); special son-in-law of Betty (the late John) Kuta and the most caring brother-in-law, son-in-law, uncle and friend to many. Michael will be greatly missed by all whose lives he touched. Memorial visitation Friday 3-8 PM with 8 PM memorial service at Woodlawn Funeral Home, 7750 W. Cermak Rd., Forest Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
