Patricia A. Lorenz

Patricia Anna “Pat” Lorenz (née Hurt), 84, of Naperville, IL and formerly of Berkeley, IL passed away peacefully on February 9, 2025, at The Springs of Monarch Landing in Naperville. She was born April 14, 1940, at Oak Park Hospital in Oak Park, IL to John and Eileen Hurt, née, Schwermer.

Pat grew up in Berwyn and attended St. Mary of Celle catholic school as a young child from 1945-1953 and went on to attend Morton West High School from 1953-1957. After graduating from high school, she went to beauty school and got a job in Cicero.

On May 14, 1963, she married the love of her life, Jerome “Jerry” Lorenz at St. Mary of Celle church. They moved to Berkeley, IL in 1965 where they raised their three children. She was active in the community serving as a Girl Scout Leader, Cub Scout Leader, youth Baseball Secretary, and worked as a lunch lady at Hillside School. She also loved to watch her children play various sports throughout grade school and high school. She was proud to raise her family and will be remembered as a loving wife, homemaker, and wonderful mother.

Pat is survived by her beloved husband Jerry Lorenz, her daughter Cheryl (Robert) Deeley, and sons Michael (Daniela Espinosa) Lorenz, and Jeff (Mya) Lorenz. Proud grandmother of Kayla Lorenz, and Luke Lorenz. She is also survived by her brother Robert (Marilyn) Hurt, niece Sabrina (Chris Hanger) Hurt, nephew Bronson Hurt and grandniece Sadie Hanger. She is also survived by several cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents John and Eileen Hurt.
