Born in Chicago, IL to Paul and Betty (nee Slaby), a graduate of St. Stephen’s and De La Salle High School, he served 32 years in the Chicago Police Department, retiring on September 11, 2001, moving on to become a full time chauffeur to his children and granddaughters. He was fond of music, and collected pipes and vintage tools. He loved reading and watching anything about things of the past. He also made the BEST coffee around.
He is survived by his wife Toni (nee Malinowski), his children Fred, Elizabeth (Javier), and Mary Rose, his granddaughters Layla and Emily Ramos and is preceded by his loved pets Bubba, Myrna, and Lucy.
