Phillip S. Vega, age 43, resident of Berwyn, formerly of Chicago's Pilsen neighborhood, passed away January 25, 2017 surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Georgina (Gonzalez) Vega; the loving and devoted father of Chastity, C.J., Chris, Jacob, Jazmina, Joshua, Jordyn and Juel; proud "Dad" of Anthony, Gizell, Jaylah, Zonnie, Mason, Baby Jake, Armani and Bria; the devoted son of Francisco and Nieves Vega; beloved brother of Blanca, Bill, Leticia, Catherine, Michelle, Bertha, Humberto, Adolfo, Jose Luis "Pepe" and Jose Francisco "Paco"; Phil was the loving and kind uncle of many. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him. A visitation will be held from 2-8 PM Monday at Woodlawn Funeral Home, 7750 W. Cermak Rd., Forest Park, Funeral Services will be held on Monday at 6 PM.
