Ramon "Ray" Sanchez

Ramon “Ray” Sanchez was a loving husband to the late Rita Eleanor Sanchez; beloved father to Linda (Gary) Singer, Vincent Sanchez, Alex Sanchez, Karen (Marty) Matlock and James Sanchez; cherished grandfather to Ryan (Liz) and Kyle Singer, Sierra Hagl (Fil) and Joseph Hagl, Nicholas and Natasha Sanchez; great grandfather to Joseph Anthony Hagl and Olivia Singer. He was preceded in death by his sister Alicia Leal, brother Arthur (the late Theresa) Sanchez. Fond uncle of many nieces and nephews.

For 68 years, Ray was a proud, dedicated and loyal member of the St. Francis Wildcats, a charitable 501c-3 organization founded in 1938! The Wildcats mission is to contribute to the youth of our community by sponsoring athletic teams, donating of funds to community organizations such as day care and health care centers. hosting various programs as well as awarding scholarships. Visitation for Ray will be held Wednesday, October 15, 2025, from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at Woodlawn Funeral Home 7750 W. Cermak Road, Forest Park, IL 60130 (708) 442-8500. Funeral Mass 10:30am, Thursday, October 16, 2025, 2018, St. Barbara Catholic Church, 4000 Prairie Ave, Brookfield, IL 60513.

Interment Thursday, October 16, 2025, at Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery & Mausoleums, 1400 S Wolf Rd, Hillside, IL 60162.
