Raymond E Dolman

Raymond E. Dolman, 94, of LaGrange Park, IL, passed away on May 24th, 2019. Born in Chicago on September 25th, 1924, to parents Edward and Caroline Dolmant, Ray spent his childhood and started his own family in the city before moving to Forest View, IL, and then retiring in Spring Hill, FL. Raymond was a member of the US Navy, a World War II Veteran, and remained active in veteran’s groups and local politics. He was a loving and supportive son, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.

Raymond was preceded in death by his first wife, Gloria Dolman (nee Krebs), brother Robert Dolmant, second wife Nancy Dolman (nee Wolz), and daughter Denise Rambert (nee Dolman). He is survived by his daughter, Deborah Dolman, son-in-law Ralph Rambert, and his second wife’s children: James (Sandy) Fisher, William Wolz, Mark (Megan) Wolz, Dawn (Rob) Wolz, and Barb (Mike) Garvey, as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be on Saturday, June 1, 2019, from 12:00–3:00PM at Woodlawn Funeral Home in Forest Park, IL. This will be immediately followed by a 3:15 service in the same location. Interment will be Monday, June 24, 2019, at 2:00PM.
