I was blessed to have Rick as a friend for close to my whole life. I was 5 years old and he was 4 when we met. Rick was the one great guy, with a smile that lit up a room and a heart of gold! My condolences to the whole Fajmon family on your loss, I will forever keep Rick in my heart!

I am so saddened and shocked to hear of the news of Rick’s passing. I had known him for years and he was always there for me when I needed an organ at a specific location or an instrument moved. I knew I could always rely on him. I have many fond memories of my association with American Music World and the rest of the family including Judi and Bobbi and Ray, Sr. ❤️❤️❤️

To all of the Fajmon family, I’m so sorry for the tremendous loss of Rick far too soon. He’s still fondly referred to as “Ricky” in the Heintz family. I am grateful for being able to catch up with him at times over the years, and to have seen him one last time at the celebration of life for Mr. Fajmon this year. Fond memories of growing up together and summer nights where all of the neighborhood kids congregated either to play “kick the can,” and by the triangle park next to the Fajmon house for so many other games. One of the funniest memories I have of Rick is when we were only in first grade. He came over to hang out with Jim during my “all girls” birthday party. He came over smiling, and impressively bringing a gift. He then proceeded to chase all of the first grade girls up the stairs, laughing the whole time, as you would expect :) Memories of him for a lifetime.

Rick had famous Chicago pianist Johnny Gabor and me, Chicago based vocalist, Connie Marshall, at American Music World. He made several videos of us. Johnny Gabor was playing several beautiful pianos to demonstrate how many fabulous brands of pianos were for sale at American Music World. And Rick had me singing being accompanied by Johnny Gabor. Then Rick put the videos on You Tube. He gave us the opportunity of a video of us performing under “Pianist for hire” and “Singer for hire”. That was so nice of Rick. I will never forget his kindness or his happy personality. God bless Rick’s soul. May God hold Rick in the Palm of His Hand. Rest In Peace.
