Sandy graduated from Farragut High School and went on to serve her community with steady dedication as an office clerk for the Town of Cicero’s Water Department, where she retired after years of faithful work. Her days were marked by a compassionate spirit and the kind of reliability that quietly supports others and strengthens a workplace.
In her personal life, Sandy’s warmth was felt most in the ways she brought people together. She enjoyed working on crosswords and jigsaw puzzles, watching game shows, cooking various recipes, hosting parties, and spending time with families. She will be best remembered for hosting parties and cooking for various occasions—generous traditions that reflected how deeply cherished and beloved she was. She was also an avid Chicago White Sox and Chicago Bears fan, and she enjoyed listening to Neil Diamond, carrying her fun, spirited enjoyment of life into the everyday moments.
Sandy is survived by her beloved Rocco Mininni; daughter Jonette Cantu; cherished grandson Aydan Cantu; brother Robert (Norine) Sejnoha; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents George & Rose, and sisters Carole and Judy.
