Steven A. Vrab

Steven A. Vrab, 63, of Worth and formerly of Chicago, passed away July 30, 2024. Beloved son of the late Louis and Eleanor Vrab. Dearest brother of Louis “Sonny” (Charito) Vrab, the late Mary (Bert) Morales, and the late Patricia Vrab; Cherished Uncle “Unk” to Valerie, Ricky, Eddie, Kathy (Steven) and Billy (Lauren); Loving Great Uncle to Eddie Jr, Tricia, Alex, Ethan, Noah, and Francesca. Proud Godfather to many of his nieces and nephews. Treasured lifelong friend to Wally and Mike Kiwan. Adored pet parent of his late dog Mercedes and cat Bentley.

Steve was a tremendous cook and a fantastic baker. He had a passion for cars, movies, coffee, and cigars, but most of all the love for his family. Unk was truly one of a kind. To know him was to love him. He will be missed greatly by all.

Family and friends will gather for a visitation for Steven that will be held on Sunday, August 4, 2024, from 2pm - 8pm at Woodlawn Funeral Home, 7750 West Cermak Road, Forest Park, Illinois. A funeral will occur on Monday, August 5, 2024 with 9am prayers from the funeral home to Divine Providence Catholic Church, 2550 Mayfair Avenue, Westchester, Illinois for a 10am mass. Mass is followed by an interment at Woodlawn Memorial Park, 7750 West Cermak Road, Forest Park, Illinois.
