

Bonnie was born on February 6, 1926 in Omaha, Nebraska. She grew up in Omaha with her brother, Eddie Pilney, and her two sisters, Libby Pilney Kutilek and Blanche Pilney. As an adult, she moved to Cicero, Illinois, to be near her sisters.
After her move, she got her first job at Western Electric, in Cicero. There, she met the love of her life, Steve Zavislak. Soon afterwards, they married and eventually moved to Western Springs. They enjoyed travelling internationally and throughout the United States.
Bonnie was an elegant lady who would light up any room with her style, personality and beautiful red hair. She had a special gift with fashion, interior decorating, and garden and landscape design. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, watching cooking shows, watching Steve Harvey on Family Feud, and dining and socializing with her family and friends.
Bonnie is survived by many nieces and nephews and friends. She was a loving doggie grandmother to Rosie and Emma.
Bonnie loved living in Western Springs.
