

Albert "Al" Hector Lefevra, 98, of Fort Wayne, has gone to be with his Lord and Savior on August 21, 2021. Born on November 28, 1922, in Woodburn, he was a son of the late Rene H. Lefevra, and Catherine E. (nee Richardson) Hockemeyer.
Albert was a member of Sonrise United Methodist Church, Fort Wayne. He proudly served his country in the Navy, and retired in 1992 from General Electric, after more than 41 years of service as a Senior Designer. Albert is survived by his daughters, as well as several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by his wife of over 67 years, Elizabeth Ora "Betty" (nee Willey) Lefevra, in 2014; son, Ray Albert Lefevra; brothers, Donald Lefevra, and Robert Lefevra; and grandson, James Love III.
A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00am on Friday, September 3, 2021, at Hockemeyer & Miller Funeral Home (6131 St. Joe Road, Fort Wayne), with calling one hour prior. Calling will also be from 3 to 7pm on Thursday, September 2, 2021, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Covington Memorial Gardens, Fort Wayne.
