Arthur W. Dauss

ARTHUR W. DAUSS, 84, of Fort Wayne, died on Wednesday, Jan. 22, 2014, at Keystone Woods Assisted Living, Anderson, Ind. Born Feb. 13, 1929, in Detroit, Mich., he was a son of the late Fredrick W. Dauss and Henrietta Schultz Dauss. He was an accountant for 35 years for Paramount Paper Tube, retiring in 1992. He was a member of Concordia Lutheran Church and after retirement worked for Crossroads Flowers. Surviving are his wife, Marilyn M. (Rippe) Dauss of Fort Wayne; three sons, William J. Dauss of Fort Wayne, James A. (Linda) Dauss of Chesterfield, Ind., and Michael R. (Amy) Dauss of Anderson; four grandchildren, Meridith (Brian) Yochim, Andrew, Ryan, and Matthew Dauss; and three great-grandchildren, Hayden, Elijah and Lucas Yochim. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Audrey Schultz; and brother, Marvin Dauss. Funeral service is 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, 7710 E. State Blvd. , with calling one hour prior. Visitation also from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday Hockemeyer & Miller Funeral Home, 6131 St. Joe Road, Fort W. Burial in Concordia Cemetery Gardens.
