Barbara Ann Fanning

Barbara Ann Fanning, 79, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Thursday, August 19, 2021. Born on March 16, 1942, in Boaz, Alabama, she was a daughter of the late Cecil V. and Pluma O. (nee Cobb) Thompson. Barbara is survived by her children, Steve Fanning of Fishers, John (Dana) Fanning of Fort Wayne, and Kris Strickling of Fort Wayne; grandchildren, Jamie (Don) Banowetz, Austin (Kirsten) Fanning, Reese Fanning, Nick Fanning, Taylar Fanning, Dorian Fanning, Brady Fanning, and Sydney Fanning; great-grandchildren, Reagan, & DJ Banowetz, Lincoln, Harlow, & Emerson Fanning; and brothers, Burt, Bill, Bobby, Shelton, Elmoe, and Verbon. Arrangements have been entrusted to Hockemeyer & Miller Funeral Home, 6131 St. Joe Road, Fort Wayne.
