Beatrice J. Fifer Emery

BEATRICE J. EMERY, 80, of Fort Wayne, passed away Friday, April 12, 2013 at Visiting Nurse & Hospice Home. She was born May 30, 1932 in Anderson, Ind. a daughter of Hallet and Jessie (Brubaker) Fifer. She was a Homemaker, and was a avid bowler and loved to travel. Surviving are her daughters, Tracey A. Jones of Fort Wayne, Karen S. Johnston of Fort Wayne, and Ronda Wambach of Fort Wayne; son, Brad Emery of Austin, Texas; grandchildren, Matt Christman, Jeff Johnston, Katie Westrick, Jason Johnston, Trayson Wambach, Braden Wambach, Maggie Haggerty, Rowan Wambach, Steve Haggerty, Talin Wambach, Geddy Emery and Lydia Emery; great-grandchildren, Kourtnee Johnson, Lily Westrich, Taylor and Christian Christman; sisters, Joyce Hart of Auburn, and Roselie Leahy of Fort Wayne. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ronald C. Emery in October, 2001; sister Carolyn Bannon. Funeral service is 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 17, 2013 at Hockemeyer & Miller Funeral Home, 6131 St. Joe Rd., Fort Wayne. Pastor Mike Cain officiating. Visitation is from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial in Highland Park Cemetery. Memorials to Visiting Nurse & Hospice Home.
