Beverle R. Schneider

Beverle R. Schneider died, April 8, 2015 at Parkview Hospital, after a brief illness. Born in Delphos, Ohio, she moved to Fort Wayne in 1928. Beverle worked as the Pastry Chef, Salad Chef, and Pie Baker for the Tearoom of Wolf and Dessauer, L.S. Ayres, and the Window Garden in Fort Wayne. She retired with over 50 years of service. Beverle is survived by her nephew, David (Dawn) Schneider, Delphi, IN; nieces, Johanna Schneider, Lafayette, IN; Gretchen Schneider, Indianapolis, IN; and a niece and nephew, Debbie and Dewayne Schneider, Mesa, Arizona. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Mary Schneider, and son-in-law, Jim Cassell. She was preceded in death by her parents, 3 brothers, and her daughter, Wendy. She was a member of Fort Wayne Baptist Church for over 40 years.

A service celebrating her life and Resurrection will be held at 1:00, April 23, 2015 in McMillen Chapel, First Presbyterian Church, 300 West Wayne Street with visitation from 11:00 – 1:00, The Rev. Gretchen Schneider, officiating. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Allen County Humane Society or Fort Wayne Baptist Church.
