Bill F. Strong, 74, of Spencerville, passed away on Thursday, January 12, 2023. He was born on September 3, 1948 in Fort Wayne, a son of the late Budd M. and Edith M. (Shie) Strong. He was a graduate of North Side High School. He worked as a machine operator at Zollner Piston Corp. for 30 years. In retirement, he also worked in maintenance at LSI. In his free time, he enjoyed riding his motorcycle and driving his Mustang and Corvette. Bill’s other passions were NASCAR, racing RC cars, and going to Mackinaw City. Surviving family include his wife, Diana Strong; daughter, Kelly; brother, Robert L. (Sharon) Strong, Sr.; and many other family members. Besides his parents, he was preceded in passing by his brother, Budd M. Strong, Jr. Funeral service will be 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 17, 2023 at Hockemeyer & Miller Funeral Home, 6131 St. Joe Road, Fort Wayne with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Leo Memorial Park Cemetery, Leo.
