

Brian graduated from Wheaton-Warrenville High School in 1994 and Northern Illinois in 2001. He moved to Fort Wayne, Indiana, in 2016, and met his wife and best friend, Heather Cardelli, in 2016. They married on July 30, 2021. His hobbies included traveling with Heather, baseball, collecting baseball cards, running, food, hiking, music, and history.
Brian is remembered as a very loving, generous, and compassionate husband, brother, uncle and friend. He is survived by his wife, Heather (Hicks); two brothers, Greg (Jennifer) Cardelli, Michael (Lori) Cardelli; and one sister, Karen Cardelli; brother-in-law, Craig Lichtsinn; mother-in-law, Deb Easterday; eight nieces and nephews, Faith, Nathaniel (Caden), Chelsea (Christa), Mischa, Jake, Max, Madelyn and Emerson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister-in-law, Michelle Lichtsinn.
Brian’s memorial services will be held at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, April 20, 2022, at Trinity English Lutheran Church, 450 W. Washington Blvd, Fort Wayne. The obituary can be found on the D.O. A celebration of Brian’s life will be held in Fort Wayne and in Warrenville at a date to be determined.
