C. SERENA KIM, 82, Our beloved wife, mother, and grandmother passed away peacefully on June 27, 2018. Serena was born in Seoul, Korea and immigrated to the United States in 1957. She attended Albertus Magnus College in New Haven, Connecticut and received her Bachelors Degree in European History. She married her husband, Dennis Kim, in 1962 and lived in Fort Wayne, Indiana for 54 years. Serena was a devout Catholic with a pure and giving heart. Her husband and family gave her the greatest joy and we are grateful knowing she is resting peacefully.

Serena is survived by her husband of 56 years Dennis Kim, her son Benedict Kim (Eunes Kim), daughter Regina Tippmann, and four grandchildren: Megan Kemp (Ryan Kemp), Jenna Tippmann, Ben Kim Jr., and Emily Kim.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10am, Monday, July 2, at the MacDougal Chapel of the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, 1122 South Clinton Street, Fort Wayne, with calling one hour prior. Inurnment will be in Catholic Cemetery, Fort Wayne. Memorial donations may be given to the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, Fort Wayne.
