Charles R. “Bob” Cashdollar, 91, of Fort Wayne, passed away on March 18, 2018. Born on November 9, 1926, in Fort Wayne, he was a son of the late Harry J and Verna J Cashdollar. A member of Most Precious Blood Catholic Church, Fort Wayne; he proudly served his country in the Navy during WWII. Bob retired in 1988 from Zollner Pistons, after 45 years of service as a toolmaker.
He is survived by his daughters, Karen Roach, and Rebecca Beitvashahi; sons, Daniel Cashdollar, David (Tracye) Cashdollar, Steven (Cheryl) Cashdollar, and Terrance Cashdollar; 20 grandchildren, and 19 great-grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Gloria Cashdollar; son, Jeffrey Cashdollar; sisters, Etelka Wonderly, Latrella Angel, Thelma Lesser, and Lois Frank; and brother, Harry A Cashdollar.
Funeral service will be 1pm, Friday, March 23, at Hockemeyer & Miller Funeral Home, 6131 St Joe Road, Fort Wayne with calling one hour prior. Calling will also be held from 4 to 8pm, Thursday, March 22, at the funeral home. Entombment will be in Covington Memorial Gardens, Fort Wayne. Memorial donations may be given to Most Precious Blood Catholic Church, Fort Wayne or to the Alzheimer’s Association.
