DAN F. "FARMER DAN" SMITH, 58, of Fort Wayne, died on Saturday, Nov. 26, 2011, at Parkview Hospital. He was born on Oct. 16, 1953, in Defiance, Ohio. He enjoyed music - especially helping his children develope into talented musicians. He loved taking care of animals. He was a wonderful and loving husband, father and grandfather. Surviving are his wife, Paula J.; daughter, KaSandra Rose Villalon; son, Austin Daniel (Ashley) Smith; grandson, Talan Smith; mother, Jackie Zachrich; and brother, Tom (Laura) Zachrich. Memorial service is 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 4, 2011, at St. Joseph United Methodist Church, 6004 Reed Road, with calling one hour prior. Pastor Russ Abels officiating. Preferred memorials to the family.
