Daniel "Dan" G. Ramsey

Daniel “Dan” G. Ramsey, 59, of Warsaw, passed away on Saturday, August 18, 2018 at his home. Born in Fort Wayne, he was a son of the late Paul and Wanda (Davis) Ramsey. A graduate of Wayne High School, he furthered his education at Ivy Tech, specializing in machining. Dan proudly served in the U.S. Army, 101st Airborne Div., for eight years. He was a machinist with Zimmer/Biomet for over 10 years and was previously employed with Zollner Pistons. He enjoyed animals, birds, nature, and spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Jackie (Druley) Ramsey of Warsaw; son, Ryan Paul Ramsey of Warsaw; siblings, Tim (Cheryl) Ramsey of Decatur, Paula Ramsey and Jennifer (Jim) O’Day, both of Fort Wayne; sister-in-law, Julie (Robert) Pettibone of fort Wayne; brother-in-law, Darren (Brandi) McFarland of Fort Wayne; father & mother in-law, Jeffrey (Constance) McFarland of Fort Wayne; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was also preceded in death by his sister-in-law, Dr. Jennifer Druley- Tholt. Funeral Service will be noon on Thursday, August 23, 2018 at Hockemeyer and Miller Funeral Home, 6131 St. Joe Rd., Fort Wayne, with calling two hours prior.
