

DONALD P. HOUSER, 86, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Sunday, Jan. 9, 2011, at Visiting Nurse & Hospice Home. He retired in 1985 from Zollner Piston after 26 years of service. He was a renowned Musky fisherman. He was also a World War II Army veteran. He was a member of Our Lady of Good Hope Catholic Church, and American Legion Post 47. He is survived by daughter, Charlotte Vallier of Indianapolis; sons, Gary Houser of Fort Wayne and Rick Houser of Fort Wayne; sisters, Evelyn Robinson and Lillian Bennett; brothers Harold Houser and Raymond Houser; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Marjorie E.; his parents, Charles and Estella; brothers, Wilbert, Floyd and Charles Houser, Jr. Service is 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan 13, 2011, with visitation one hour prior to service, at Hockemeyer & Miller Funeral Home, 6131 St. Joe Road, Fort Wayne.
