Edward A. Bobilya, 76, of Fort Wayne, passed away Tuesday, June 7, 2022 at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne. He was born on February 8, 1946 in Fort Wayne to the late Theodore and Josephine (Crosby) Bobilya. He married Diane Long on December 31, 1975 in Fort Wayne. Together they raised a daughter, Christie. Mr. Bobilya retired as a Planning Manager from B F Goodrich near Woodburn. Edward enjoyed golf, fishing, and racing boats; but most of all loved his family. He is survived by his wife, Diane; daughter, Christie; sisters, Linda (Ted) Archbold and Kathy (David) Sult; nephews, Corbin Archbold, Chad Archbold, Shannon Sult and Todd Sult; and niece Stephany Romines. He was preceded in death by his brother, Michael Bobilya. There will be no formal services at this time. Memorials in Edward’s name may be directed to Humane Fort Wayne, Allen County ASPCA, or St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital. Arrangements have been entrusted to Hockemeyer & Miller Funeral Home.
