Eileen M. Kiser

Eileen M. Kiser, 94, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, April 13, 2025, surrounded by her family. Eileen was born on November 8, 1930 in Fort Wayne, a daughter of the late Clarence and Helen (Berning) Spencer. Eileen graduated from South Side High School, Fort Wayne. She later went on to work for Fort Wayne Community School for 25 years as a secretary before retiring. She was a member of Resurrection Lutheran Church, Fort Wayne. In her free time, she enjoyed working with flowers, cooking, and doing crosswords. Her biggest joy though was spending time with her family. Surviving family include her husband of 70 years, Richard Kiser; her daughter, Cynthia Kiser; her son, Timothy (Tamela) Kiser; her granddaughters, Melissa (Bryant) Hower and Kristy (Andy) Burns; her great grandchildren, Cooper, Carter, Paxton, Savannah, Maxx, and Lily; and her brother, Robert Spencer. A funeral service will be 12:00 pm on Friday, April 18, 2025 at Hockemeyer & Miller Funeral Home, 6131 St. Joe Road, Fort Wayne, with visitation beginning at 10:00 am. Burial will follow services at Highland Park Cemetery, Fort Wayne. Memorials in Eileen's memory may be made to Heart to Heart Hospice.
