

ELDONNA GRAFFIS, 95, of Fort Wayne, left this life and gained perfect healing in the presence of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Sunday, Sept. 16, 2012, at Golden Years Homestead. She had lived in Kewanna, Ind. most of her life and had been very active in the community. She was a member of Kewanna Baptist Church. Surviving are her daughters, Joan (R. David) Boyer and Betty (Dr. E. Jon) Brandenberger, both of Fort Wayne; son, Dr. Richard (Susan) Graffis of Indianapolis; nine grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and sisters, Bonnie Lausted of Ann Arbor, Mich., Evelyn Sue Guiley of Elkhart, Ind. and Peggy Stadtmiller of Ypsilanti, Mich. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Graffis, in 1993; great-grandson, Christopher Therber; parents, Don and Edna Nafe; one brother; and three sisters. Funeral service is 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 22, 2012, at Hockemeyer & Miller Funeral Home, 6131 St. Joe Road, with calling one hour prior. Calling also from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 21, 2012, at the funeral home. Graveside service is 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 22, 2012, at Citizen's I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Kewanna. Preferred memorials to Blackhawk Christian School.
