Everett A. Beck, 86, of Fort Wayne, Indiana passed away on Friday, September 20, 2024. Everett was born on July 6, 1938 in Fort Wayne, a son of the late Samuel L. and Emma E. (Hirschy) Beck. He worked for United Trucking for 22 years and retired from OK Trucking after eight years in 1994. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Fort Wayne. He also was a member of Teamsters Local 414. Surviving family include his children, Tammy Bly, Kimberly (Dan) Monroe, and Elbert "Butch" (Denise) Beck; seven grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Besides his parents, he was preceded in passing by his wife, Louanna C. (Ruch) Beck; son-in-law, Wayne Bly; a grandson; and five siblings. Funeral service will be 11:00 am on Monday, September 30, 2024 at Zion Lutheran Church, 2313 South Hanna Street, Fort Wayne with visitation one hour prior. Visitation will also be from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm and 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Sunday, September 29, 2024 at Hockemeyer & Miller Funeral Home, 6131 St. Joe Road, Fort Wayne. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Fort Wayne. Memorials in Everett's name may be left to Zion Lutheran Church or Heartland Hospice.
