FRANCES L. SHEEFEL, 83, of Fort Wayne, died on Wednesday, Oct. 5, 2011, at Parkview Hospital. Born Aug. 27, 1928, in Harlan, she was a daughter of the late Howard and Mary Nusbaum. She retired from DeHaven Chevrolet. Surviving are her sisters, Phyllis Kimes of Ft. Worth, Texas and Dorothy (Wade) Fry of Fort Wayne; brothers, Ralph (Dotsy) Nusbaum of Fort Wayne, Richard (Donna) Nusbaum of Coleman, Mich. and Ronald (Gureta) Nusbaum of Panama City, Fla.; brother-in-law, Donald (Beverly) Sheefel of Fort Wayne; sister-in-law, Mary (Jesse) Henning of Fort Wayne; 19 nieces and nephews; 40 great nieces and great nephews; and 26 great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Harry, in 2001. Funeral service is 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 8, 2011, at Hockemeyer & Miller Funeral Home, 6131 St. Joe Road.
