

Gloria M. Gayman, 89, of Fort Wayne went to be with Jesus, surrounded by her family, on Thursday July 3, 2014, at St. Anne Home. Gloria was born in Chicago, Illinois to the late George and Dorothea Schoberg. She married her first husband, the late Elmer B. Blad, and lived in South Bend, where they raised three daughters. Gloria married her second husband, the late Arthur L. Gayman, gaining another daughter and son. She loved her Lord and served Him faithfully for many years. Her family was the joy of her life and Gloria was happiest when she was with them. She enjoyed cooking and entertaining. Later in life, God blessed her with the gift of painting with watercolors. Gloria was a member of Trinity English Lutheran Church and P.E.O.
Gloria is survived by her daughters, Barbara (Michael) Hostetter, of Fort Wayne, Sharon (Randy) Breunlin, of Conifer, Colorado, Alison (Tom) Pritz, of Bettendorf, Iowa, Hollie (Steve) Hepler, of Greensboro, Georgia; son, David Gayman, of Minneapolis, Minnesota; sister, Gayle Stopfel, of Louisville, Kentucky; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Donald Schoberg; and sister, Dorothy Johnson.
Funeral service will be 12 pm Monday July 7, 2014, at Trinity English Lutheran Church, Krauss Chapel, 405 West Wayne Street, Fort Wayne, with calling one hour prior to service, at the church. Private family burial will be at Highland Cemetery, South Bend. Memorial donations may be given to Trinity English Lutheran Church, Fort Wayne.
