HELEN H. LeFEVER, 93, of formerly of Fort Wayne, died on Friday, March 16, 2012, in Ft. Myers, Fla. Born Aug. 17, 1918, she was a member of Peace Lutheran Church and Telephone Pioneers of American. She had been an Operator Services Manager for both Indiana Bell Telephone and General Telephone, retiring in 1979. Surviving are her son, Robert C. LeFever of North Ft. Myers, Fla.; and sister, Ruth Pierson of Mason, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Robert and Edgar Heikowsky. Funeral service is 1 p.m. Thursday, March 22, 2012, at Hockemeyer & Miller Funeral Home, 6131 St. Joe Road, with calling one hour prior. Pastor Paul Spira officiating. Entombment in Concordia Cemetery Gardens. Preferred memorials to Peace Lutheran Church.
