I loved my Aunt Hellen. A women who tackled all adversities and kept a great attitude about it. No matter what life threw at her, she would over come it. I loved talking to her about the east coast where she grew up at. When her sisters would come in, what a hoot. Last time I talked to her we were talking about Macintosh apples, which reminded her of her home back east. So very saddened to lose a Aunt, friend , mentor. When I say good bye it is only for now, we will meet up again one day, and pick apples. I want you to show me how to make your apple pie. Your nephew Jeff Hoger

Dearest Smith Family,
Just wanted to send some love! Loss is so difficult for our human hearts. I hope you find comfort in KNOWING your wife and Mother has WON the battle. Sending hugs, kisses and prayers of comfort. I love you all. Please give Uncle Smitty an extra big hug.

“Auntie Helen”,
To me you were a perfect example of a great Christian woman who loved like Jesus. ALWAYS someone to aspire to. Because of your Unconditional, steadfast , and enormous love.
We Grimes’ would ALWAYS look so forward to our infrequent visits at Cape Cod, with the Smith’s. Right in the midst of Grimes/ Smith chaos (always well organized) would be Auntie Helen never fazed and always showing some lovin’.
Well today The heavens are ROARING! And you my wonderful Aunt, are resting in the arms of OUR SWEET JESUS! I know our growing heavenly family was ELADED to welcome you and extend some of the Grimes love.. Today you are free.. free of pain, free of earthly burdens... I can’t wait till we are once again reunited in Eternity and YES it is going to be a beautiful eternity!! I love you!

XOXO LAURA
